This gorgeous colorful Spanish colonial home is located in Franklin Hills. It was designed by Reath Design! When I ran across this home tour I was immediately intrigued by how well this home does color. This home is full of bold color choices and prints. I didn’t think it was possible to create a home with so much going on but this house makes it look easy. It’s not my go-to style but it’s incredibly beautiful and brilliantly designed. The darker feel to the home is perfect for the fall season!
First up is the entrance area to this stunning home. The space offers a super cozy area that gives a great first impression of the home. The orange-toned rug and blue bases painting complement each other nicely. The bench is a nice touch to create a comfortable space to take your shoes off or set down a purse/jacket. The shoe rack adds in a homey feel. The bookshelf around the windows is a genius idea!
This image highlights the hallway between the entryway and the kitchen. This home has some impeccable architecture – the archways through this home are beautiful. The Tuscan red color of the walls and ceiling add a nice warmth to the room. My favorite part of this home is the rug runner. The rug ties together the red and blue together perfectly! Plus the pattern adds an interesting addition to the area.
If the entry area could get any better – it does.. This coat area is one of my favorite spots in this home. The colors between the walls, door, rug, and coats create a beautiful palette. The area to the left of the coats is perfect for that spot! The darker wood looks amazing with the other colors in this space.
Hallway area – colorful Spanish colonial home
This last sitting area in this moody color-packed home takes in a tri-colored design. The couch is amazing in this space! The teal, magenta, and mustard color look incredible together. The teal walls and yellow-toned table create an interesting comparison to the sofa.
The other view of this room shows off the entranceway and a desk area. The arched entranceway is incredible! The orange and grey colored desk adds an interesting combination of colors with the rest of the room. The hanging graphic art adds in a nice detail to tie the colors together.
